Lightning over Toronto

One of the benefits of living in an apartment a few floors up is that you have a great view when mother nature decides to go nuts.

While I was writing my blog last night there was a crazy amount of lightning outside, so I had to bust out the camera and see what I could come up with.
It's amazing that the city can just light up in an instant as if it's daytime. A rather eerie looking daytime.

I never would have been able to attempt this back in the film days. Storm pictures are yet another reason I'm glad that digital cameras were invented.
