Drank and Novocaine

Three days ago the 3 amigos went on a road trip (James, James and Eugene).

They'd heard that 7-11s in the States now carry this crazy drink called Drank. Apparently Drank is an ANTI-energy drink.
So off they went to find it.
It's funny to picture them driving all over Buffalo looking for a 7-11.

They found the drink and along with it they also found a drink called Novocaine. That one liked to market itself as an anti-stress drink.
Too bad I didn't find that one before I left Bell!

James was so thrilled to find it, he bought half a case. He decided to wait until he got home to try it out. James L., on the other hand, decided to be the immediate guinea pig and try some Drank there.
He adamantly denied it having effect on him, but he apparently snored all the way back from Niagara Falls.

The day after the trip James decided to try out the Novocaine. He was kicking himself that he hadn't bought more than just 1. That quickly changed after he sampled it.
Apparently the Drank beverage was the clear winner in the taste department. True to the purple packaging, it tastes like grape soda.

James confirms that Drank did, in fact, "slow his roll." For someone who is pretty laid back to begin with, that's saying something.

Sure enough, they got searched at the border. Luckily they didn't have to pay duty on their drinks.

Since they wanted their outing to remind them of the movie "Hangover, " they decided to visit a casino in Niagara Falls. James commented that Niagara Falls is probably the closest thing Canadians have to a Las Vegas. There could be some truth to that.
I'm glad James didn't get stuck on a roof or anything.

Since there are 2 casinos at the Falls, the older one has resorted to bribing its gamblers with free sodas and coffee. I'm sure that appealed to my frugal husband. He was excited they had penny slots to play on, so he could get the most out of his $20 spending limit.

I wonder what would happen if someone had a couple cans of Red Bull and a couple Dranks? Would their head explode?
It would also be an interesting trick to see what would happen if you switched someone's energy drink with a Drank. While we were looking for Drank at a Canadian 7-11, we did see a drink with almost identical packaging.

As you can see in the pictures, Sushi was curious about the beverages as well. She didn't actually have any, but I still like seeing pictures of her sitting around looking relaxed.
